About Kat: Meet the Mind Behind the Pen
I have been a nurse for over 30 years, but I have been creatively writing since before I learned how to write. Characters and their worlds lived in my imagination until I learned to pen them to paper. The mechanics of writing came later through a Writer’s Digest contest and the suggestion of returning an entry in manuscript format. I was later asked to write resumes and cover letters and other people’s biographies. My letters got jobs for friends and kept military family members out of the stockade. I wrote myself to A’s in college. Now I want to share all this with anyone who needs it, because to me, we’re all writers, and we have stories to tell.
